We decided to put in a new back lawn. It was green, but very patchy. Here's the start of the whole process. Notice the beefy tiller on the right, then notice the tail tucking front and center. Tahoe knows when he's met he match.

After the tilling was done, I put the raking crew to work. The union insisted that there be a foreman on site. He brought some crackers to munch on.

Finishing up the sprinkler layout. Connor was very helpful in removing the flags no matter if the sprinkler was installed or not.

The grass arrives. 400, 50lbs rolls totaling 2000 sq ft.

Was Casey on the clock for this picture? Get to work!

Casey laying down the sod.

It hadn't been down for more than 10 minutes and he's already claiming territory!

Jennifer jumped in and moved some sod too.

Dad giving homage to the last remaining square of dirt. The lawn "keystone", if you will.

2.5 hours later, we had a completely new lawn!
