Here I am, walking in the snow a the top of TV Tower Road. We had heard that you can drive up here, but it was a little sketchy doing it for the first time in snow and rain. The road was pretty beat up and washed out and the steep sides didn't help the enthusiasm of my passengers. But then we saw a Honda Civic plowing through the mud and thought we should probably suck it up.

How do you get to TV Tower Road?
Go to the top of Cuesta Grade on 101 South. Turn right into the pull off area and follow the road up up up up: Google map
Some amazing views of SLO, Los Osos, and Morro Bay. We need to go back when it is sunny and clear too.
